☜ Sports ☞

Some strange sports.

Cheese-rolling, zorbing, sepak takraw, bossball.

Cheese-rolling.
In this game there are a lot of people who stands on the hill before to start. There's a man that throws a piece of cheese down the hill and all the players have to try to take the cheese. The first one that pick up the cheese can bring it home.

Zorbing.
This game consists of run in a ball. Basically, a woman or a man, enter in a plastic ball and an another person hit it down the hill. It can run also in a pool.
The person inside will see a lot of mixed colors.
green.. blue.. green.. blue..

Sepak Takraw.
This is similar to volleyball, but with some different rules. In this game there are two teams with three players and the camp has a net. They have to pass each other the ball, right and left the net but without hands.
They can use feets and knees.

Bossball.
Bossball is a musical sport. There are trampolines and a net. Players have to play with the ball on this camp and they can use arms, hands, feets and head. They jump on the trampolines and try to keep the ball in the air.
They play with the soundcheck.

My favourite sport.
I don't follow sport at much, but when I see it with my dad or with my friends I really like it! I see mostly football matches. For me it's a little bit boring follow sport at TV or in stadiums but sometimes it gets also funny.
My favourite sport is yoga. I love it!
It's relaxing and comfortable. I don't do yoga at much but when I have some free time I absolutely do it. It makes me feel really good, with myself and with other people.
Usually, when I come back home from school I don't even have time for lunch because when I am home it's 14:00. This is boring for someone that's always hungry!
In the afternoon I do my homework and then, I go to another school for do trinity.
At 21:00 I've finished everything, fortunately. So, I do yoga by myself.

THE U.K ✈

The UK is a political union of four countries: England, Scotland, Wales and Noth Irland. The UK's form of government is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary sistem  and its capital city is London . The current British monarch is Queen Elizabeth II.

Literature

British literature' refers to literature associated with the United Kingdom, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. Most British literature is in the English language. In 2005, some 206,000 books were published in the United Kingdom and in 2006 it was the largest publisher of books in the world.

A number of UK cities are known for their music. Acts from Liverpool have had more UK chart number one hit singles per capita (54) than any other city worldwide. Glasgow's contribution to music was recognised in 2008 when it was named a UNESCO city of mysic, one of only three cities in the world to have this honour. The Beatles have international sales of over one billion units and are the biggest-selling and most influential band in the history of popular music.

Remembrance day.♥

Remembrace day (also know as Poppy Day) is a memorial day.
This recurrence  is observed on 11 November to recall the end of hostilities of World War I on that date in 1918. In the United Kingdom, although two minutes of silence are observed on 11 November itself, the main observance is on the second Sunday of November, Remembrance Sunday The Remembrance poppy has been used since 1920 to commemorate soldiers who have died in war, this symbol is a Papaver Rhoeas. The use of the poppy was inspired by the World War I poem "In Flanders Fields". Its opening lines refer to the many poppies that were the first flowers to grow in the churned-up earth of soldiers' graves in Flanders.

It's Halloween!☻

Halloween is a yearly celebration observed in a number of countries on 31 October. The word "Halloween" means "hallowed evening" or "holy evening".
Today's Halloween customs are very important, especially for kids. For them it's funny to be dressed up like monsters, witches, pumpkins, and other scary things!

Development of artifacts and symbols associated with Halloween formed over time. Jack-o'-lanterns are traditionally carried by guisers on All Hallows' Eve in order to frighten evil spirits. There is a popular Irish Christian folktale associated with the jack-o'-lantern, which in lore, is said to represent a "soul who has been denied entry into both heaven and hell".
Trick-or-treating is a customary celebration for children on Halloween.
Halloween costumes are inspired of witches, vampires, ghots, monsters etc.

♥ My idol, Taylor Swift ♥

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. Raised in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, Taylor moved to Nashville, Tennessee at the age of fourteen to pursue a career in country music. She signed with the independent label Big Machine Records and became the youngest songwriter ever. At an industry showcase at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe in 2005, Swift caught the attention of Scott Borchetta, a DreamWorks Records executive who was preparing to form his own independent record label, Big Machine Records. She became one of the label's first signings. Musically, the first album has been described as "a mix of trad-country instruments and spry rock guitars." Taylor Swift was released in October 2006.Swift's second studio album, Fearless, was released in November 2008. Swift wrote seven of the album's songs alone, including two singles. The lead single from the album, "Love Story", was released in September 2008 and became the second best-selling country single of all time, peaking at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Four more singles were released throughout 2008 and 2009: "White Horse", "You Belong with Me", "Fifteen" and "Fearless". "You Belong with Me" was the album's highest-charting single, peaking at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. Swift released her third studio album, Speak Now, in October 2010. She wrote all fourteen songs alone. Speak Now was a major commercial success, debuting at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart. Its opening sales of 1,047,000 copies made it the sixteenth album in US history to sell one million copies in a single week. As of February 2012, Speak Now has sold over 5.7 million copies worldwide. Swift's fourth studio album, Red, was released in October 2012. She wrote nine of the album's sixteen songs alone. Swift began writing songs for her fifth album in July 2013. While she hopes to re-team with some past collaborators, she also has "a really long list of the people I admire and I would really love to go and contact ... I never want to make the same record twice. Why do it? What's the point? It's so overwhelming that when you're starting a project there are such endless possibilities if you're willing to evolve and experiment."

Taylor received a lot of insults.
This is because she's a honest person and for all her life, she've wrote songs that are real! Her songs are about her boyfriend, her ex boyfriends, her life, her fans, her past, her experiences. So, just because Taylor's songs means something she is hated, this is awkward!

But who cares? We love Taylor. We love her songs.
She inspired us, for everything. She teachs me to be brave, to be patient and to be kind, because life is a mix of emotions. She wrote a song for swifties, her fans: Long Live.
And this is my favourite song.
So,
Long Live Taylor Swift!

“No matter what happens in life, be good to people. Being good to people is a wonderful legacy to leave behind.”

Hello! My name is Giusy and I'm from Villa Literno, Italy. I am fourteen years old and I love Taylor Swift. She's an American singer-songwriter. She was born on 13th December 1989. She sings country music and she wrote her first song when she was only eleven: "Lucky you." Her albums are: Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now and Red. Next year I will meet her in Milan. But now I talk about me. In my family there are four people: my dad, my mum, my little sister, and me. I love books, especially romantic books. In my free time I like to call my best friend and talk with her for many hours. I also really like horror movies, that's because I like to scare people. That's all about me!
